v6 to GT body conversion

ok so i have set myself a goal that by july i will have myself the saleen kit. HOWEVER, it states over and over again that it fits the GT. im not stupid and i knw that the GT and v6 share the same underpinnings. that being said i also know that there are minor changes to the 8 that are not on the 6. one that comes to mind is the fender liner. i know that when you do the swap, you change the fender liner but is that all or am i missing something?

I just had this discussion with some manufacturers at a vendor outing last weekend in Kansas City. The V8/V6 cars are completely different at the front end, Grille-Fascia and they say even the hoods are different from the V6 to V8 cars which without having one of each side by side i know the grille and fascias are different but was unaware of the hood. V8 hood is longer i guess than the V6 due to different grilles?
