well guys, i have been going back and forth for a long time and i finally decided that it was time i set out to do what i said i would with my stang. goal #1 when i bought the car was that i wanted a show stopper. part of that was to make my car stand out above all others in the area and perhaps even for a few miles in all directions. although i honestly believe that with the current mustang being the best one (my opinion guys) i knew that more could be done. i started small. i got window scoops. a freak accident ripped one off so i got new ones. i have the cervinis spoiler and the xenon body scoops. not to mention i have also got teh hood scoop. to some these parts are more then enough for the car. not me however. i knew and i also know that i will not win any shows or even the attention i beleive teh car deserves with just 3m taped parts. (not that there is anything wrong with that) i looked around and after exhausted searching i found the kit i wanted. the saleen mustang kit.this particular kit has it all. looks and lots of attitude. not only that... it is a very respected name. the process was not easy because at first when i looked at it, all it said was for a GT mustang. imagine my surprise at that. then i thought about it. aesthetically the 2 cars are different but aside from a diff bumper and rear bumper and the addition of 2 cylinders the car was identical. so i sent saleen a message about it and what do you know... it would work with no probs. only change having to be the addition of v8 fender liners to mate up with the saleen bumper. so i am proud to announce that at the end of the month at the latest, i will have my saleen kit ordered and sent to my house. painting and installation will prob be completed before july is over with. my only problem, where can i get the saleen rims without being in chrome? if i cant where would be a good place to get rims that resemble these with NO chrome? thanks guys and gals.
isnt this beautiful?!

sure do. currently, the hood scoop and teh window scoops are in the shop getting painted. i deploy at the end of the week so i told teh guy doing the work that i need them finished before then. we will see. by the way, because i will not be able to transfer the cervinis spoiler to the saleen, i will be selling her if anyone is interested. i will settle for the stock spoiler in the cervinis place just to tide me over until i get the saleen one as well.

the newest pic of the car is just the body scoop pic. since these have been taken i have removed the mustang striping on the sides and the black racing stripe going down the center of the body. saleens dont have that so... mine wont either.

maybe i should correct my statement from above. i have the stock spoiler already so if i sold the cervinis, then i would just put the stock on till i get the saleen body kit on, by then i would also have the saleen spoiler. anyways, Moels to answer your question, the spoiler sort of bolts on. when i say sort of, i mean its an option. it came with screws that could be used to secure the spoiler to the trunk but that was a "what if" precation. the actual spoiler and its sides are held on by 3m heavy duty auto tape. once set youd have to be traveling over 200MPH to get that off. that is if you followed the istall directions. the reason i didnt do the screws is cuz to get it on youd have to drill holes for them. there is already 4 holes in the stock spoiler set up so i was not gonna add more holes to the already holey trunk. if your interested id sure be happy cuz that would be that much less i gotta come up with for paying off teh body kit. if not thats kool.

yes sir it does. the holes will not be visible and so long as you follow the instructions, the precations screws will never be needed. minor prep work would be needed. 3m wax remover spray would be your tool for getting a good clean surface for teh tape to bond with. also its advised to do it in temps above 60 but not to exceed 80. lastly, its recommended that you do not drive the car for 24 hrs to ensure the tape has good grip and that it wont fly off at highway speeds. to vouch, i have hit 110 in the 6 and that spoiler only pushes the ass of the car onto the ground more. great handling!!
