Lake Geneva Raceway

[88Nightmare]

opening night at lake geneva raceway, also known as the tour of destruction. tonights festivities included a monster truck doin some stunts and car crushing, the miltown wheelie boys with their crotchrockets, a 90lap full size V8 car endurance race, multiple 4 cylinder races, including a partial offroad race, producing a spectacular crash. A Ford Escort GT tumbled and flipped multiple times after being hit airborn, then landing on the earthmover tire. He walked away from the crash. There was also a trailer race, and for those who dont know what this is, you grab yourself any vehicle you want, any trailer you want with any load you want, and race. its an all out destruction race, anything goes. After that, a jetpowered car torched a couple old jeeps. Here are pics of the trailer race and jet car meltdown of a jeep. They are taken with my cell phone but they look decent. More pics tomorrow when I upload pics from the digicam.

Pics of the jetcar. The jetcar is at the left side of the fireball. all the bright orange specks you see flying away is molten metal and other assorted fragments of the car being blasted away.

I heard they are not sure if they will close this year or close a few months into to next season. (sucks ) They use to have a drag strip there before my time.
