I work there. I can race any day I want. ;)

Ok, here's something to chew on. The air today is some of the best there has been since last year. I went down and snuck in two passes. First one I blew off the tires because I hit it too hard. Let the Mach1 cool off for two hours between rounds.

May I present my new best ever gentlemen??? :D

Where do I get this "stuff" from? Where else? The GLD WEBSITE!!! We have comprehensive weather info and a correction factor calculator.

The quality of the air makes all the difference in the world guys. So do track conditions. Today is our Summit Super Series. I made my 2nd run right after the Top ET class. So there's no excuse for not hooking and booking. I hit all the gears dead-on and my reward is a 12.93 and I came THIS close to putting up a 107 MPH trap speed. I am doing these 12-second passes without a 1.8 60 foot, and to me that is impressive. This car will clearly run DEEP 12's with nothing more than a decent set of tires.

you the man Greg :thumbs_up I guess I need a 2nd job at the track :thud:
so I need to look at the GLD site a little closer, I did print out the correction factor sheet a few weeks ago.
I found it when I was looking for the power & et calculaters. I didn't find them, on the GLD site. did I miss something?

No Mark, I did. The old page was still on the server but did not match the coding for the VB3 upgrade. I had to convert it to that format, which I have finished a few minutes ago, so here is the link:

http://www.greatlakesdragaway.com/index.php?page=analyzers

I have to make a few changes to the main page to incorporate the link...

That's great Greg, really nice times when you look at the poor 60'. Now throw some sticky tires on it, and make a run for the 50's...

Thanks Jerr- This is what I have been saying. 1.94 on a 12-second pass. ;)

I think it will go 12.70 at least on a real tire. (and snap the brittle axles!)
