Moulding around 1/4 window

Just wondering if there is something you can put over that moulding or if you can replace JUST that part of the window. this is a '87-93 put into the '86. that black moulding around it is kinda "aged" so i did't know about replacements.

You can't really replace them as they are moulded into the glass. The ones they sell are covers. The go over the top to cover the pits. I sanded mine down and primed them until the pits were gone. They look good but not perfect. I don't think the covers would look very good on them.

^^^ is right. What I did is removed the entire window and used Bondo brand spot putty to fill in all the pits, masked the window, primed it, and repainted it black. came out darn good with spray paint. I can get you some pics to show you how it turned out if you want.

thanks guys. guess that is what i'm gonna have to try to do. should come out fine like you said with the bondo stuff.
