We had the sirens go off here in Stevens Point earlier this evening. I guess a Sheriffs officer saw a tornado come down on the east side of town. I didnt see anything though. Hopefully this storm will pass everyone by with no damage!!!

All clear for the moment but there are severe storms north and south of here. There is a report of a tornado over in Hingham, across 57 from Random Lake...
We are so close to the lake, the storms seem to lose strength once they get with a few miles of the lakeshore...

It hailed here earlier this evening for like 5 minutes(just pulled the car in the garage a minute earlier).
This last storm looked like it was headed right for us,but by the time it was going through Waukesha it had weakened geatly......whew.
Luckily no Tornado warnings for Milwaukee.

Glad you're ok Becky. It's all moved out over the lake here, but I guess down by GLD things have kicked up quite a bit.

at work they had us take cover... i guess that the tornado siren went off and the clouds were starting to swirl. i have a feeling that a tornado hitting a window factory would not have been pretty...
