are fox dashes different?

hi, are the dash's different for the years of the fox body? i have a black one from a fox, it has the spot cut out for the fuse box....i was told it will fit in my 90 even though the dash is older.

i dont want to take the old dash out the find out the used one wont fit.

yes the 87-89 are different fron the 90-93 dashes. the only real difference i the cutout for the fuse panel. I put a few 90 and newer dashes in older mustang and vice versa. its pretty easy. just with the 90-93 dashes going into 87-89 with tilt the dash will need a little trimming where the dash attaches by the steering wheel behind the cluster. hope this helps.

what about dashes from an 86 or older? are those similar to the 87-93's? aside from the gauge cluster....

matt that dash is out of a 91 so you shouldnt have any problems.
