Start with the basics Joel- It's Wednesday, and you're alive and alert. It's all uphill from there. Things will get better. Focus on your studies right now bud...
And you car. You need to get it together so you can go out & bang through the gears.
Driving the car is great therapy.

Hump day again, gonna be 60 later :thumbs_up
I'm starting to get PO'ed with Stangsuspension. The web site says my order hasn't shipped yet. I'm calling today to find out what gives. I don't want to have to pull things apart a 3rd time to finish the job.

I took care of making sure I'd get the parts I need by Friday.
I had some trouble with Stangsuspension/Stangshifters last year with ordering. This time around I ordered from another place on the phone 2 day shipping and canceled with SS. The guy from SS emailed back going, "they going out the door today" but I told him to cancel. Hey, I ordered on Saturday and asked for a hurry up yesterday. At the least he should have kicked 'em out the door yesterdya. I got enough worries already and I want to get this out of the way. He was cool about it because I have ordered in the past. If time wasn't a problem, ie that fazikin' knock noise wasn't driving me around the bend I would have waited. Sorry, very stressed at work and needed to unload. :thud:
So Tim how's the weather up North??
Once again we are at the 50 yard line of the week.
I can't wait for Friday nights with the cars out.

DO NOT GO TO BK!!!!!! Last Saturday the cops blocked the parking lot with no warnings like they usually do. They handed out tickets to over 250 people. I hear a lot of people are planning on hitting four corners. The cops do not mind when we are there.

And besides it is supposed to be in the 70's today. :D

Yea, what a great day to have off!
The grass here in the last two days has turned a deep emerald green. :D The buds on the trees are starting to thicken up and my "privacy shield" for the deck is filling back in.... Enjoy your off day buddy.

Yep things are getting green, I've already needed to mow the lawn twice. My apple tree has blossoms just coming in and the Magnoila tree has already bloomed and is passed it's best. I love spring
Dropped the car off this moring for struts and an alignment.
We have 72* and lots of sun!

Golf Mill Ford has lost all of my future business. They called me up and said there was a problem installing the struts. The rods come up through the mounts like there nothing to stop them the service writer says. They said they couldn't figure it out. I get there and they show me the car. IDIOTS, all they needed to do was take the bottom half of the mount and put it on the strut rod before they tried to finish installing them. I could see that in 5 seconds. I don't get it how could a auto tech be that stupid but this one fell out of the supid tree and hit every branch with his head on the way down. I got a free rental to use and it will be finished tomorrow. I think I got the free rental because the service writer realized the tech fugged up big time but they didn't have time to make it right today. Argh I'm going to be pissed off until I get my car back. Even the service CD has you taking those parts off the old strut to put on the new. IDIOTS!!!!!

Ouch sorry to hear that Tim.

Lesson learned, if you want something done right ... do it yourself. I also haven't heard from X2C so that's it for that. Time to find some bolts and get to drilling.

My day sucked, work was long and full of frustration, then my mechanic calls (Ed). I'm having my new 31-spline axles installed with carrier, he left a message saying that's there's a problem with the axles?! I was hoping to get the car back today, but the axles are 0.0085 too thick to have the ABS rings fit. So there is a delay, hopefully tomorrow i can get my baby back.
Everyone give a big hello to Hump Day!
Half way to the weekend!
Atleast the week is moving along.

Yeah Hump Day! I got to knock another porject off the list. I put a railing around the outside basement stairwell. Good safety thing because it's a 10 foot drop from the top to the bottom. Looks good it's white PVC, much nicer than the old wooden fence that was around it. Big rain on the way, looks like inside work today. :thumbs_up

Ah done working for the evening, kicking back and drinking some of my great canadian beer Alexander Keith's IPA.
Looks like that weather is going to be moving in soon. Bracing for a crappy commute tomorrow. :thud:
What no invite ???
I can drink and say "EH" :D
Damn mosquito's are out in force. Until I lay down some spray tonight.

Hump Day is here again, man between all the stuff I'm doing around the house and parties at friends etc. I've been busy. Don't know when I'll get to hit the track again or anything. Might have to head up on a weeknight I guess. Time to head off to the daily grind. :thud:
I am so beat from last night.
Huge traffic jam on 294 from the Lake Forest Oasis to just past Half Day.
2 lanes closed for repairs, and of course nothing happening. It was one big cluster f***.
Tim Russell
06-23-2004, 08:16 AM
So typical traffic all &$&*&^ed up for nothing.
I gave my auto a big hug this morning. :D
I was in the GT last night, crawling between 0 & 5 mph. If we had been moving just enough to stay in 1st it would not have been too bad.
But Nooooo, clutch in, clutch out.

That's why my next car is gonna be an auto, I'll keep the 6 so I'll be able to drive stick when I want to. 25 miles to work and 25 miles home on I-94 from the Stevenson expressway to Dempster. With a manual that's gettin' real old.
All I have to say is today really sucked!
