Ok-I double checked the nylon line and there are no kinks. It is hooked into the vacuum line on the firewall, but i am not getting any reading on my gauge. It is a brand new autometer boost only gauge.
Where should I hook it into exactly? I am stuck and out of ideas why the gauge wont read boost. When i unplug it from the back of the gauge I feel vaccum sucking on the line.....
thanx guys

the FMU feed is where you should "T' it. The FMU has to read the boost signal, so connect the Boost guage, the FMU and the regulator feeds all together. Be sure to secure all the lines with ZIP ties. Boost guages should also have a vaccum scale on them. Do you see any reading of any kind???

Well I see it says "boost only" (why get a guage like that??) so I guess that answers the question. If you see no boost and have a powerdyne, make sure the internal belt is not broken- spin the input pulley and make sure the impeller is also spinning.

Couldnt he just use any vacuum port on the intake/firewall Greg? That's what I always heard, but I'm somewhat of a bottle boy......
The best way, when running an FMU, which is dependent upon a good boost signal, is to have the boost/FMU/Regulator connected via a T-fitting. Yes, you can connect that boost guage anywhere that there is a vaccum source. Where there is vaccum, there will be boost of course.

Be nice Danno!
Boost guages with no vaccum scale are fairly common (factory boost guages don't have vaccum in many cases) but I prefer to have the full vaccum scale. You can use that guage to save gas (the vaccum scale)

I pulled the thing off the car. The internal belt is fine, I had it all disasembled.
THe impeller spins freely with the pully.
I will tap into the FMU fitting on the car and see what happens. I bought just a boost gauge becuase I didn't know they made a boost/vaccum until now.
Ill keep you posted. I suppose the gauge could be bad??

You don't have strong enough lungs to produce 1 lb of pressure??? No tire pump? Should be easy to test that guage man! Don't use compressed air or you'll blow it out, but a tire pump will work...

I am enjoying the S/C a bit too much i think.:)

I knew you would!!! :D I'm insanely jealous. I know what it's like to have a "never ending" bottle of GO. Wish I still did. Who wants to fill bottle and wait for heaters when all ya have to do is HAMMER IT AND GO!!!
Blowers rock!
You lucky dog!

I have to get use to how there is no "hit" like n2o. It just builds with RMP.
I just ordered up my MSD6btm from summit greg. This should give me the flexability I need with timing and a good strong spark. Hopefully it will prevent detonation!
