Greg can post more info when he is awake again. MMA will be in the Fish Day parade Sat. the 17th here in Port Washington. Let's get a bunch of stangs in there and have a good time. There is also a car show on the bluffs afterward.
Post up if interested and Greg will fill in details.

This post was lost in the crash BTW

I'm sleepwalking, don't mind me!

I did manage to get over to the Chamber of Commerce yesterday and pay the entry fee for us, so we will be able to take part in the Parade. We have to meet at the staging area on Montgomery street by 9:30. I was thinking we should maybe meet at either Wal-Mart or some place easy for out-of-towners to meet.

We should put something on the cars, but time is short.

We're probably going to go right up to Oshkosh right after the fireworks show Saturday night...

Aproximately how long of a drive is it from Port to the EAA?
Just wondering what time to leave on Sun. morning.

Wayne, I got back a notification from Port Fish Day, Inc. We have been assigned group ID#40A
I need to scan two documents and post them. We are supposed to stage at 9:15AM at Wisconsin and Jefferson. They said the Parade may take up to two hours. :thud:

Did you see that 69' charger that did one last year??? Everybody was cheering and the cops didn't say anything. He didn't do a "burnout" per se, he revved it up and dumped the clutch. I think that is a bad idea given all the kids and such. We're going to set a good example, aren't we?? :hehe:
It does look like a good place to stage. Maybe we should just meet on your street???

Greg@GLD
07-12-2004, 09:27 PM
I knew YOU were kidding Wayne, I was talking about the dude with the charger. I can't imagine you would really want to do that!

Your street seems like the perfect place for us to assemble, so if that is ok with you, let's plan it that way.

Are you serving breakfast Wayne??? Don't go too wild on Friday night!

Kirk

:burnout: Someone say Burnout?? :D

Ooops that's right I may not be driving mine.......:shifter:

Ask Greg..... :D

I am such a friend that I am going to take the hit for him & help him out.

I thought you were going to drive your ragtop Kirkster? I haven't heard from Todd, I don't know if he's even coming?
Wayne- dude I was kidding about the breakfast bro!

Greg@GLD
07-12-2004, 09:54 PM
Yes but I don't think he can last 2 1/2 hours without one of his Camels... :D

Ok I am confused from our last conversation.

The vert will be in Sunday's festivities for sure.

Wayne, I think they are skipping the parade and just going to be at the car show. I saw him Saturday, he didn't sound too excited about it, they don't want Becka to have to be in the car that long, which is understandable, and he hasn't replied to this so I'd guess not...
Kirk, I think we are on the same page again, my misunderstanding.

Hey Greg,

I need some MMA stickers for my ride. I will meet you guys by Waynes in the morning if that is still the plan.

Ok Craig. I don't have many left, I might have to bum some from Kirkster!

Yes, the plan is to meet at Wayne's house (not Wayne's Drive-in, just in case that confuses anyone!)

Kirk

I will bring what I have.

Good thought to clarify which "Waynes" :D

Will anybody be at Hwy 100 tonight as the weekend is so busy? Was planning to head down tonight but doesn't sound like anyone will be around.

Yea, quite a day... We're just about to watch the fireworks off the deck here.
As far as the tire marks on main street, I talked to most of the police, they said not to worry about it.
Great time, thanks to everyone for showing up, it was really cool!
Wayne- the Mach won 3rd place for best Musclecar. I was very suprised, given all the oldschool musclecars there. Mike Jaber won best Pony Car. :D

I took many pix from today, will upload them as soon as I can...

All I can say is "What an AWESOME Time" at the Port Show today. It was great finally being able to put faces to your MMA names. What a great group of guys we have here! The parade was unreal!! The day was great! Thanks to Greg and Missie for being such great hosts today. Tomorrow will be a really fun day as well. I look forward to seeing all of you at the EAA/MMA show.

Thanks again for a really fun day!

Fish day is always lots of fun, but being in the parade was the highlight for me this year. Now all I need to do is start a Fish day Parade Tire fund for 2005. The wife told me to start collecting money from all my neighbors who were forcing me to light em' up throughout the parade route.

Man was that fun, layin rubber in front of the man.....lol

The crowd loved it, I heard numerous times that the vettes wouldn't do it. :)

We hopefully will be doing it again next year.

Most vette drivers are a bunch of posers !!!!!
