Talked to John today, here's the scoop:
Mention MMA and get 10% off your bill for work done there.
They also will sell M/T tires at the best price possible, figure you will save about $10.00/tire over any mail order place like Jegs or Summit, PLUS no shipping if you pick the tires up in person. Before you order anything for your Mustang, give them a call and inquire about price. You might be suprised. There is an ad for Fast Times on our main page.

It would be a long ride to pick them up from Iowa!
Example of savings- John said he would get me another C/F clutch if I want one for $299.00, best I can find is $329.00.

That is a very good price Greg, just remember that doesn't include a throw out bearing. ;) I think Darrell quoted me 325.

Really? I need to keep that in mind for the next time I need a clutch. Which the way my luck is going may be very soon.

Well on that subject- John says he thinks it must be a problem with oil on the disc or something else, he thinks I should get another one. I still don't understand how the previous C/F lasted me for 4 seasons and 100's of passes with a supercharger, and this last one went south so quick. I may regret this but I think I am going to give C/F one more try. The pedal feel is smooth as silk and easy on the clutch leg. I'll almost feel better if when we take it apart there is a rear main seal leak...

I have heard the D/F are very sensitive to break in. The guy I got my used one from even said to be careful breaking it in again. If you drove it like "normal" before this one was broken in(which honestly wouldn't be hard to do IMO when you get use to something) that could be the cause of the shortened life. Just something to keep in mind if the rear seal isn't leaking.

I think I will Clay...
John- I thought I followed the proper procedure for break-in- 500 city miles. It was fine from April to November, then I hit the juice and that was it. :(
