Las Vegas

In about 12 hrs. Myself and my girlfriend will be on a jet plane heading to Las Vegas. We are staying at the Treasure Island. This is my first time going there..so I am a newbie at this. Anyone got any good pointer or tips for me. I think I am going to see the Cirque de Solei (sp). I saw those guys in Orlando and they are really cool to see. Thanks

i was in vegas in august make sure you goto freemont street on thursday thru friday night its great down there live bands and light shows after 9 pm or bikini bull riding in side the frontier was cool to you will have fun no matter what you choose to do. at the hooter hotel casino they have the alan kulwicki under bird from his winston cup championship

I heard about those guys trying to hand you stuff..cards and what not. Are they really that annoying? I heard I should stay away from the hoover dam. Ever since 9/11 they cut the tour short. When was the last time you were there? I will post up some pics hopefully. It seems that I always bring my camera but never take photos with it.

the people handing you the cards are really that annoyong they are everywhere unless it real hot like it was when i was there in august then there card are taped to poles,lights poles,busstops there every where. i have been to vegas twice and never went to hoover dam and each time i go home i go wishing i would have went. i also heard the haunted vegas tours are cool also

Be aware of pic pockets on the strip. Drug pushers and undercover cop "drug pushers" are really pushy. Be carefull. Other than that it is a good time. Be sure to check out the Hoover Dam and take the tour like C130 said. Its a short drive and well worth it. Valley of Fire is a good area too.

I love vegas the party never stops! Hoover dam is well worth the trip. It is truly a engineering marvel, you will also get to see the construction for the new road around the dam its pretty amazing how they buils stuff in the mountians. I love giving the card holders a hard time with the spanish tought to me by my mexican co-workers. If you don't have fun out there you are broken.

Now I dont really need to take the trip....thanks man! j/k. Well I was gonna do the Circe Du Soleil but seats are 100 a piece for section 200 and 190 and some change for section 100. Ehh, I will try and make it out but have a feeling it will go soooooo fast and I will be back before I know it. Anyway, Im off and will try and post pics of my trip. Will be at least one toilet shot of me hurling I'm sure.

Get you pic by the star dust cause Nov1st its closing and getting torn down.. The strip is pretty cool, but on the double decker buses are the way to go but they get a lot of pick pocketing on those so watch your money.. Red Rock is also nice to see.. If you do a time share thing don't take the gambling money take all the free show tickets and gift cert you can get and tell them to kepp the gambling money cause the only way you get to keep the "fake" gambling money is if you hit the jack pot and its only on 6 slot machines, so load up on all the other free stuff and watch your watch when they tell you 1hr and 30mins tell them there time is up and you want your goods, and tell them NO everytime!!
