I was thinkin of going to GLD tonight. It is feature car night. Feature car is the Camaro. Can I run my mustang or is it camaro only. I tried to go yesterday but it was closed due to rain. If you can run anyone want to meet up there?

Yeah, shh......like whatever. I went last night and had a blast. First time I actually had fun in my car since I owned it. (2yrs) It got cold reallly fast. I was not hooking up at all. I had the motor there but couldnt stick. My first pass was real bad. I went on street tires and ran a 14.1 @ 101 mph. I spun in 1&2nd gear so I didnt really try too hard. I put my slicks on and heated them up and my posi was working. Light turned green and took off and posi let go. I ended up doing 13.7 @ 106.05mph. My last pass of the night I heated the slicks up, got a good R/T, launched nice and actually slid each gear nice. My trans is shot so I was majorly granny shifting. That pass I made best w/ a 13.3 @ 105.8 mph. I think it is time for a better posi, aftermarket air intake and a tune w/ Marv. On a warmer night I can get this dog into High 12's. WOot WoOT

106 MPH is good for 12's easy.
Night racing in fall is kind of a watse to be honest. Once the sun sets there is no traction to speak of. It's made much worse when the majority of the cars have street tires.
But you had fun, so that's all that matters.

I figured w/ my mph time I am good for 12's. I am a newbie and was on slicks for the first time last night. I have M/T drags and just couldnt get a real nice grip. I totally agree that it is a waste. I got really damp out and was freezing. I am overly anxious to go in the spring when it is warmer out. For the MMA day is that during the day?

Yuppers. As long as the sun is out you should be able to get some hooky. We can work with you that day on your technique/style and offer some pointers/suggestions.

I need the help bad. here is my first run and my 13.3 run

60'....2.160

1/8....9.217
mph...78.03
1000..11.899
1/4...14.146
mph 101.06
this run i couldnt stick, on street tires
and couldnt find 3rd gear
last run
R/T... .540
60'... 1.792
330.. 5.451
1/8... 8.516

My best mph run was 106.39 w/ a 1/4 time of 13.9. My posi worked in the water box but then when I launched I had a one wheel wonder. I just had my differential re-done too. So I guess its time for a detroit locker or auburn... Got any suggestions?
