I just received my wilson manifolds nitrous plate (for my little toy system).
(sorry I didn't get the NX one, it was a tossup, and I just heard too much good about the wilson).
Anyway, I did a side by side plate comparison with my son at the switch.
ABsolutely no comparison. There are at least TWO dedicated ports squirting into each end cylinder.
When we hooked up the NOS plate, it was to say the least, emberassing to watch. Just a puddle going to the center cylinders................Can't imagine how much better this plate will work then the old NOS one................egads.
In either case, the season isn't even over (well, for me it is), but I"m already getting antsy as hell to 'HIT IT' next spring..............  :shifter:

Don't know.............I'll have to count 'em......:>)
Just the quality difference between the plates is nutso. (don't tell my wife, but I"ve got it wrapped in plastic, sitting on my bedroom dresser). :>)
Can't have it getting all dusty and stuff before next season, ya know.........:>)

*It will be tonight, Kirkster........:>)
No, Badass, I just got the plate. Using all the other stuff (cheater solenoids/hoses, etc, etc), off the other system.
Just the 4150 plate. No burst panels. Wish I would've saved up a little more and got the one with the burst panels, (just for the coolness factor), but I haven't got that much hood clearance as is. (and this one is a hair thicker than the usual 1/2" thick one I was using).
It is the cats ass tho, for sure!!!!
(and, I still haven't counted the holes)......................
I can just see Steve sitting there hugging the new plate.

Thats the way I was when I got mine. I went 10.64 blowing head gaskets with the 73-82 in the big shot. changed only the plate (same nos everything else) and ran 10.30 of the trailer with 65-65 jets. With the 73s I eventually ran 9.90 with my 347.....And no damage it payed for itself.

So you can use NX solenoids and jets with it? Wouldnt that alter the "HP shot" as advertised, since youre not using Wilson's 'noids and jets?
You can use any noids you want. As for jets I have always stayed with the Wilson jets, and I never staggered them like other companies tell you to. Maybe you could use other companies jets, but I still don't think you should stagger.
I think you will be real happy with that plate Steve!!! I don't know how you can wait for next season.... :burnout:

I can't..............I think I need meds...........:>)
I am saving up a couple more weeks for the wilson jets. (couldn't afford them at this time).
The plate (which I purchased directly from wilson), was 248 (if I remember), just for the plate. BUT they threw in a waaaaaaaaaaaay cool hat!!!!! (wore it last nite to the Y and out for our walk............). Stylin' beyoutch, I be dat!
