Is there any advantage to replace my factory sparkplug wires with what I read are 8mm performance type? Suggestive input is appreciated.

not really unless you have a lot of miles on your plugs and wires. i changed my plugs (changed to copper plugs) and wires (jba wires) this summer at about 60,000 miles and i'm thinking that i probably could have held off on doing that for a while longer.
