O.K., I just put new front pads in and had the rotors turned, repacked the bearings, new seals, the whole schpeel. Everything was good, no brake chirping. Got through this weekend - Parade and Oshkosh - Drive the car Monday through today and guess what I get back.....that's right! Brake chirping. Anyone have any thoughts? This is driving me nuts. Do I just go get new rotors or can the brakes not being bled enough cause this?
Thanks for any help. :thumbs_up

What about the cailpers Wayne? Did you rebuild them? You might have a piston that is sticking and not retracting after the pedal is released. Poorly bled brakes won't squeal, they will feel mushy and you will have a low pedal. Is it the same side that squeals?
I have a lazer temp tester- if you have a caliper hanging up, that caliper will have a much higher temperature than the other side, after a fairly long ride.

You can get "brakequiet" that can be applied to the back of the pad bases to keep them snug.

"cheap" brake pads will also squeal. Name brands such as Bendix have beveled edges that let brake dust escape. A build up of brake dust will cause a squeeky brake.

Is one of your brake caliper bushings hanging up? Do you lube them real good?

One time at work we had someone who had squeeling brakes so what do you think they did to fix it? They added grease to the rotor to stop it. Well it worked but they had no brakes!
