Don't Fear the GEAR!!

I got my new rearend installed thursday night but didn't get to take it for a ride because I had to bleed the brakes. Well a friend came over saturday and we "gott-er done" and I was finally able to take the car for a ride saturday.

I put an easy 75 or so miles on the rearend before the urge to row through the gears became overpowering. Holy **** batman!! The car just flat out gets with the program now. It used to pull through first and second pretty well but it would work to pull on the top of 3rd and through 4th. Now it just pulls through the first 4 gears like its nothing!! I can't wait for RSD now!!!

*Disclaimer*: All acceleration tests where performed on a deserted back road..

F.Y.I. I swapped from 3.55 to 4.10 gears..

Hell yeah! Glad you like them. I did a change similar to that, going to 4.30's from a 3.73, i just wish i did that in the first place.

how many rpm are you turning at 75mph with the 4:30 gear. I have some 4.10s at home for my Mach1 that I want to put in, but if I can go with a 4.30 gear & still go 75-80 mph. that would be better :thumbs_up
