Does anyone know a whole lot about water injection kits?? I finally got my car going tonight with the blower on it. I really didnt get a very good chance to mess with the timing and try different things. I ran 20* with the spout out and went for a cruise(with racing fuel..110 octane and a 6lb pulley). I got on it a little bit and didnt notice any detonation. Then again I never mashed the throttle to the floor either. The car ran a bit hotter and I didnt like how the car sounded under normal driving conditions. It was almost like the car wanted to sputter but never did. Then I tried the timing at 12* with the spout in. I got on it just a tad and heard one pop and let off. Other than that I didnt get much more of a chance to play.
Anyhow, I remember someone mentioning water injection for my setup. I think there is a yellow vert on here that is running one :burnout: ....SMOKED U? Are they cheap? How do they work? Do they come on at WOT or can they be set up to spray according to how much throttle you are giving the car? I want to run my timing the way it is set up N/A and have the supercharger running that way. Will water/alky injection make that possible? Any ideas?
This powerdyne makes hardly any noise whatsoever....my other one use to whine pretty good.
