No guys, this is not a joke, this one is for real...
Dominic Blasco, a former executive from Household International/HSBC and a long time drag racer, has joined Randy Henning and Ray Drew as a shareholder of Great Lakes Dragaway. Mr Blasco will serve as a Vice President of the track. Together they will continue to improve and make Great Lakes Dragaway the best nostalgia track in the country.
Those of you who frequent GLD probably know Dom well- he runs the Midwest Gasser Association and drives that little grey "pickup" that says Midwest Gasser Association" on the sides. Dom's a BIGTIME drag racer and has done a lot for GLD in the past. Now he's one of my bosses.
Now all three of the principal shareholders are longtime and dedicated drag racers.

Ouch!! I have no idea who you are talking about. Randy is sure no prick, and Ray has very short hair, and Marcel is always kind and pleasant to me and allowed us to hold free race days at GLD. One thing they told me and Brian also was that there have been too many freebies and we can't "give the store away" so to speak... Marcel has become a "silent" owner and is no longer involved in day-to-day operations.
Looks like I am going to have to give them another call next week.

Sounds like a good thing when another DRAG racer joins the gang , especially in an ownership type deal.
Only good things can come from this. But now can GLD get better?....Thinkin' about moving the track closer to ME??????????????? :>)

Sounds like a good deal to me. We all know that the track will never be sold to developers just so the owners can make a buck.
