My wife Nicole got me a Raptor Shift light for my birthday and I installed it the other day. I like having it in the vent so its not so cluttered around the gauges. Just wanted to share!

How do you adjust the shift point on that unit Dale? Cool idea. I like that column pod also, that's slick!

I just take off the vent with a quick twist of a screwdriver and pull it out of the vent (velcro) and the adjustment is just a few twists of the dials built into it.

Thanks Greg, I like that column pod too although I have to admit that its quite hard to read A/F ratios at WOT while staring down instead of at the road. I have to tune with a co-pilot haha.

The gauge? Yes its an AEM unit but before they did the nice upgrade of the quick release on the back of the gauge, so if I ever remove the pod, I have to re-route all my wiring to it  I like having the convenient gauge rather than the big box you have you mount somewhere.

What I like is that it acts somewhat like an analog gauge with the sweep dial. if you train your eyes to know where the safe zone is, you don't have to stare at it. I also like not having a box to mount. My Dynojet Wideband Commander that I have in the Cobra has a box. But it also has the ability to record so I can playback the data on my laptop...
Never in a million years did I ever think I would have anything AEM on my Mustang. :D
Those three letters used to symbolize IMPORT.
Sorry for the hijack...

No problemo, I felt the same way, but it was too convenient to pass up, plus at least they are a reputable company unlike other Rice products out there.

I don't see why not, only thing different is that that vent can't be closed by the slider.
