Well wasn't gonna work on the car tonight but did anyways and I am almost done hope to finish her up today and should be driving it mid afternoon :banana: Well off to shower then bed. :thud:

Just got back from GLD. It was fun to get back to the track and make some runs. It was windy and cold, picked up a little in the 1/8 but the wind cut some off the top speed. Can't wait for the track to be a little less green and to get the rear suspension finished. :shifter:

Can't sleep to much stuff on my mind right now. Hope the weather clears up for racing today!!!!!
We had a thunderstorm around 3:30 but the radar is clear now.

In the 40's for this weekend, brrrr. Not your typical San Diego weather. But... brackets and lots of other payout racing at Barona Dragstrip 10 minutes from my house. I'm going to get a 5 gallon can of race gas.!!

Kirk we had a HAIL storm to end all hail storms last night, it woke me up it was so loud, needless to say I got about 3 hours of sleep last night

Saturday, man I'm being lazy, I just got up. Gotta get to work, got to drill out the torque boxes on the car and get some house stuff done.
Been busy upstairs all day. Got the shower base set & the water supply lines connected. No leaks! :banana:
Now just finishing up all the little things before drywall. Tomorrow I have to get everything out of there.

I'm so dead, drilling the torque boxes turned into a bigger job than I anticipated. Ended up having to take out the springs to be able to have access. Got it done and no more noise from the uppers shifting. Kirk thank's for telling me to look at Ace hardware they had just what I needed. I found that 9/16 bolts were perfect to fit the sleeves.

Also good time to do it is when everythings apart. I'm just glad no more klunk, klunk when going on/off the gas.
Note: They didn't have lock nuts and the bolts/nuts didn't have flairs but they have grade 8 washers and nuts in the correct sizes so I did that, found 14mm (so close to 9/16 it doesn't matter) lock washers at Menards and used thread lock for good measure. :thumbs_up

Usually starts around 6pm. If it's raining most will usually skip it.

Going down to GLD to watch the Summit Series and see if I can get a few passes in. The air looks to be awesome today...
The conditions down here are awesome for racing.
But alas I have painting to do & a party to go to this afternoon.
Planning on hitting Waynes on Tuesday. :D
Well the work week is over & the House work begins. :D
It looks like building the knee wall on the stairway is first up today, then move on to more painting.

Oh man what a night last night, went down to the tweeter center and saw Poison and KISS!!!! Never saw either band before and seeing Poision was cool 'cause I was a teen during the 80's heavy metal years. Even though they're in their 50's, KISS blew me away. They still totally rock and if they come back again I'll be there. :worshippy

There's nothing to do today, i feel like i'm wasting the day. I would start ripping the car apart for the header install, but i need to drive it tomorrow up to EAA! Plus, i'm still waiting on my SLP x-pipe and QA1 k-member.

Did we have some wicked storms last night.
Ended up staying up for a while to watch. There was so much lightning that the thunder was non stop for a while.

Actually, I finished off the last of the pain pills I got for the dental surgery I had last week, and I fell asleep in my chair. Missie didn't want to disturb me. I woke up with a start ayt 3:00AM, and my computer was still on, so I quick checked my e-mail and then saw you and a few others were on the board.. :D
Yep there were a couple of night owls last night.

Wow this area's been dead for a bit.
Typical fall Saturday, got a ton of leaves in the yard to clean up and then doing dinner and a movie with friends.
Tomorrow it is time to start working on the house again, gonna redo a bathroom and do paint and trim in the bedroom. We're also doing a new closet organizer and changing the doors to bifolds.
Of course I mignt wait to start next weekend and go to GLD one last time :thumbs_up
