Almost feels like a miss?

I just bought my 97 GT with the 4.6 single cam, and while the motor is running, under the hood its smooth as glass, but when you sit inside it almost feels like it has a slight miss, almost as if it needs new plugs or wires. Is this normal? This is the first gt I have ever owned. It has exactly 80,000 miles. Looks like the wires have been since replaced, not sure about the plugs, I didnt pull any. Any suggestions? Tach also stays nice and steady.

I dont know about the pre-99 but the 99+ 2v(GT) has been know to have kind of a rough idle almost like a miss

where is it idling at?

My 03 GT does the same thing. I took it in a Ford said it is an "acceptable" idle.

Yep, thats pretty much normal.

My 98 did that with the 2v and still does it with the 4v...

My car usually idles around 600-900, depending on if the ac is on or not, or if the fan is on, but it doesnt like, fluctuate back and forth, it always stays put. Id say more often then not, everytime i look at the tach, its around 800rpms.

BTW Mine does the same thing, it's nothing unusual.
