im looking at getting more into the susp.

Im stuck between going with a 70/30 or a 90/10 strut
I have run the 70/30 on the street in my old fox body and they were not bad at all but I want more

im looking at this setup for now
lakewood 90/10
4cyl fox body front springs
strange shocks
v8 fox body rear springs with a air bag

I dont need the car to take turns that fast I just want something I can cruise on the street with and take to the track and cut good 60' times.

so I will get to the point who is/has driven a car with 90/10s on the street and did/do the react

Well, I know you are looking for 90/10 info, but FWIW, I have the AGX 4 and 8 way adjustables on my Cobra, they rock! You can play with the settings and find a nice balance. I picked up quite a bit on Drag Radials by playing with mine- I have been WAY down in the 1.70's almost 1.6x, by setting the fronts loose and the rears at "2". Then you can set them back for "street" handling and not be stuck with a wallow-wagon. :D

How do you adjust the struts? What's a good price for them?
So far I have found them for $109.00 (each)

I got mine from Discount Tire Direct (Talk to Todd and get the GREG FROM GLD DISCOUNT!!!) You adjust them right in the top of the struts Kirk, with a pocket screwdriver. Just press down on the notch and click the arrow indicator to the numbered setting. The rear shocks are just a dial that you twist. :)

lakewood 90/10
4cyl fox body front springs
strange shocks
v8 fox body rear springs with a air bag

thats what I'm running now, with the addition of upr 2x adjust uppers, lakewood lowers, and a tubular k....no sway bar either

its probably the most effective, bang for the buck suspension setup you'll find

90/10's are totally streetable if you can deal with the weight transfer

I already have some new rears on the way so I am looking for the front struts.
On the AGX struts what are tyhe adjustment range, and what do you use between street & track?

well I got a deal on some lakewood 90/10s@ 150 shipped. so I will be using those it might be a few weeks before they go in cause im going to wait till I have my front springs and my 3in studs so I can do it all at the same time while its apart.

I have a set of Lakewood 50/50's for the rear. Just need to decide on the front struts.

The AGX adjustables are looking good.

I think im might stay with the stock rears for now since the stockers are a 50/50 shock anyway

heres an update

this past sat. we put some lakewood 90/10s on the front as well as my 15x4 draglites with 165r15 tires and I will say this it does not handle that bad at all even with out the front sway bar

so far I love the setup I just need springs and rear shocks now and I will be done with the susp. for awhile next onto long tubes and shortie mid pipe
