Where's the drooling smilie when I need it.

The problem is the cursed distributor. Talked to the boys at the FMS trailer at Cordova and it doesn't exist yet. I do like their (Ford's) idea of putting it in the valley.
What's the latest on that Eric?

Of putting what in the valley Tom, guess I'm a little confused?

If you are talking about adding a distributor to the mod motor, you can do it. The ones I have seen are all ran by one of the cam gears...

Yep, in the valley. That's where they put the dizzy on the weber carbed 5.0 cammer in the 65 Mustang. I've seen a pic of the ones driven off the cam gear, was hoping for something else.

I guess I really don't understand the need for the distributor, except for in a carb'd application. I would just get a FAST and be done with it.

Ding ding ding. A carbed application it would be. Though by the time one paid for an intake, carb, distributor and what-not, a FAST system or something similar wouldn't be a lot more money. I just can't afford this hobby, period. How expensive is knitting? Yarn and crochet hooks can't be much.

Thats the intake that TARZAN is supposedly going to test for purplestang - thats a 2v intake and not a 4v. At least someone is trying though!
