View Full Version : Shop recommendations to weld on subs in NW subs of IL?

Hi all,

Getting my first pony project (85 GT hatch) in motion here and am looking for a shop to weld on my subframes. Havent bought the subframes yet cause i figure some shops my have some sort of package deal.

Anyways what is everybody recommendations? I will consider shops or individuals so lets have it.

Speed inc might do it or go to any muffler shop.

Will try the muffler shop idea, with regard to speed inc, found alot of yellow pages entries and found this one closest too me

i have a brand new set of granatelli motorsport weld on subframe connectors for sale... $65 firm... they are nothing special... i have em on my car tho..

Ill add that to my comparison list, I havent reached a firm decision yet but im leaning towards full length sub frames.

I just finished making my own. I could make you a set. I live in McHenry. I have all the equipment in the garage. And if you are here to help w/cutting and holding crap in place it should be really cheap. Let me know if you are interested. joeswr400@ameritech.net
