View Full Version : So how's the New Daily Driver?
Tim,
So how's the new daily driver doing for you? I bet the commute is a lot better now.
A co-worker just picked up an 04 Accord loaded. Very nice car. :thumbs_up

I have feeling in my left leg again, great car for the commute. Very smooth engine and easy to drive. My wife said I seem to be in a better mood when I get home now.
The only problem is I'm now spoiled with the automatic. I have even been toying with finding an auto for the 'Stang since traffic sucks so much and I suck at drag racing with a manual anyway. I think it would be too much trouble. I'd need a different computer and all that other crap to make it work. I wonder if there's a non-computer controlled one I could bolt up. I would consider that worth it. I got a good motor and body and the 5 gear syncro is starting to go for some reason on my T-5.
Stick is a pain about 2 years ago I was in the other camp, Stick makes driving more fun etc. but it seems rush hour gets heavier every year. :thud:

Did you get a sedan/coupe 4 or 6? I used to be a salesman at a Honda dealership and I would take the EX V-6 coupes out for hours at a time for shits and giggles. Those cars are so smooth and truly are a driver's car.
The 4 cylinder is a nice ride too...but I like the 240 horse hehe.

I should have said it was an EX-V6 Coupe and not just a 6. I have also found it to be a good drivers car once I got used to FWD again. No wonder it's a Car and Driver 10 Best. I should see how it runs at the track sometime next year. :thumbs_up
