Well considering most of our team is injured, they are not playing too bad.

I expected Philly to have atleast one TD by now.

Mumble grumble football crappyday mumble grumble...

Packers dropping like flies. We've lost our top defensive and offensive linemen, and today you got a chance to see what life w/o Favre is like, and it's not a pretty sight.
We have lost more games at home in the last year than we did in the previous 7 or 8. :thud:

Lambeau Mystique is but a myth these days. :(

You are preaching to the choir talking about injuries.

Yea, but our injured QB is better than yours is. ;)

But the real question is....

Who is worse off now?

Well, to be blunt honest- Brett does no play defense and after 4 games there is an alarming pattern. Without our big run stopper (Grdy Jackson) we have been mauled, gashed, had our asses kicked or however you wish to put it on the ground. Other teams are feeding off our weak defensive front like hungry sharks. We have given up incredible amounts of yardage on the ground 4 weeks ina row, it's UGLY.
Win or lose I love my Packers, but it looks like we're in for a long season. :(

Too many scary "firsts" happeneing. First time we have lost three in a row in who knows how long, first time Brett hasn't finished two games in a row in which he started them, first time since 1980 that we have lost two in a row at Lambeau, etc. Winds of change are blowing hard.

Ouch...

I hear ya about sticking with your team, same here.

You can deal with loosing some key players but when you loose your leader that's a different story.

Wayne, I agree. If he retires I would like to see him go out a winner.

Well for us up here, we're used to winning, know what I mean? Like with the Brewers it's the opposite- "Ok, Brewers just had yet another losing season, so what else is new?"
With the Pack it's much different. But this is all part of what makes the NFL a great game; teams don't stay on top for long anymore, and I think that is a good thing. I remember how every year it seemed the Cowboys, 49ers, Bills and Broncos were almost always in the superbowl or the conference championships and that sucked.

I agree with both of you.

You mean like the Cowboy's being "America's Team" ????? :puke:

Wayne I think we will get the ship righted again, but we all know llife without Favre is coming soon and if what we saw yesterday is any indication, we might want to prepare for more of the 70's and 80's Packer teams. :thud:

Can you believe that at one time we had:

Kurt Warner
Aaron Brooks
Matt Hasselbeck
Mark Brunnell

:thud:

All of them went on to have very successful careers...
