I went to the track last night, with poor results But that's not really the issue. I get home from the track and decide to take the skinnies and the bald Nitto's off, (which i found a nail in!), since i'm done for the year. i put my Bullitt rims back on and when i drove a round and looked at it in the parking lot, the front is higher now! It was 26.5" on the driver side from the bottom of the tire to the fender, now it's 27" and the pass. side is 27.5" How did this happen? should i lower it or when i throw the skinnies back on, it'll be way too low? I know the beauty of coilovers is the ability to adjust height, but i don't want to paying for alignments all the time. Also, it now seems that my coilovers are clunking and make more noise since the Bullitts went back on. I also looked at this Procharged `04 GT, think his name was Tom or Todd from Minn. He has Strange Struts like me, but with D&D coilovers. His car wasn't super low and his coil was so compress that they would be almost touching. Not sure what size spring it is, but I know it was a 250 rate. My Strange coilovers are 14", 175 rate spring, I have an index finger gap in between the coils, this is ok right?

whats the total combined height of each wheel, bullit and skinny

you want to have a gap between the coils...if they're too close you effectively wont have any spring...very very bad

Ok cool, so my coils are fine with gaps in between, thanx Matt. :thumbs_up
I'm not sure of the height difference between the 245/45/17's to the 16/r/15's are, but it seems a half inch. I guess i'll lower it once i get me a spanner wrench :D
