Are ARP studs good for one use? I know they stretch as you torque them. I've got head studs on my motor now and was wondering if I take my heads off to do a head gasket change if I can re-use the studs?
Yes, they can be re-used. That stretch you put on them is well below the point that they permanently deform.

I torqued mine down 5-10 times...never had any issues. This was with the overpriced set of 7/16" studs and matching step down washers/inserts
btw if you use cometic mls gaskets you don't need to retorque after heat cycling

What ones do you have? I was thinking about trying out the gaskets that Mark said Larocca suggested.
