REMINDER: Night racing at GLD ends this week

This is the last week of night racing for the 2004 Season at GLD. Begining next week, we are open only on weekends, and will remain open until it snows or the weather gets too cold to run safely.

Oh, don't worry about that, not this late in the year. You should be able to get in as many as you want on the weekend. At MMA day it was quite busy but most people got in as many as they wanted. We won't be that busy this weekend, lot of people put the cars already.

I got 5 runs in and I sat around and watch some of the action for awhile(4 hrs total) plus we left a little early like around 6:30

I'm sure I will have a great time, I need to get away and do some gear bangin big time. Let's recruit some more MMA people to make it this day also, I know badass said something about setting up a day to meet because he had to work the 30th also.

I would go but my little brother and my son have a little ones football game that im going to be at.

Danno, we will stay open as long as possible. Last year it snowed on November 6th, the year before we were open into December. Just depends on Momma Nature and what she has in store for us...

Just remember, hit it when the last yellow comes on and don't over rev it at launch. Mine launched the best at 2500 rpm on street tires.

My cars down for the year. Some some reason I keep breaking bolts on my exhaust manifold (2 so far) so it sounds like crap, and I think my u-joints a going bad already, plus the insurance is off it now. :mad: So I am taking it to the dealership on Thursday for warranty work, then it goes night night for the winter.

But we're on for the first spring event.

we had a little snow mixed with rain it only lasted about 15mins and then turn into just rain :thud:

I hope its dry tonight. I have my Wilson Pro flow plate under my carb, with a safe 150hp tune up in it. my car should run a 8.8 et @ 154mph. :rockon:
