Goals for 2005

As the 2004 race season is coming to a end(I hope not for a few more weeks)

What kind of goals are you guys setting for yourselfs/cars

I will start

12.7s on motor
11.5s on the bottle

13.00 on motor, which is all I have.

For me, it's not time yet to set goals, because I don't know where I am yet. Mach1 made it to the 12's twice this year, I sure don't see it going 11's anytime soon.

Big question mark with Nice Asp. The first 60 to 330 feet is crucial to your ET. Since the blower went on the car, I have never been able to measure what this combo is truly capable of because of the clutch. I haven't some close to doing a "power launch" or hitting the gears hard. However, after yesterday I am confident I can get this thing to ET better than ever, but just how much better is what remains to be seen. I'll come back and answer this question when I find out where I am at. I plan to drive it every night this week so hopefully this saturday I can let it fly at GLD and see where I am at, and if Nice Asp can cover some of the checks my mouth has been writing for me with regard to Mark and Dan and a few others. :hehe:

My head porter called me on my way home and wants to dig back into the heads though. He has some ideas and thinks we can get 130 mph out of it on the motor alone! :thud:

If that's the case, I'll have a nitrous system up for sale!

i'd love to see something in the 10.2 range once we get a good tune on this motor and really start to stand on it.

still gotta get the thing legal for 10's LOL, other than that possibly a K-member, glass hood, and see where else i can put it on a diet at.

once we get it all dialed in, i may look at a bigger cam more suited to my heads than the tiny .576/.576 that's in it now.

If everything goes right, (and engine DOES get built the way I want /hope it will be), I'm hoping for lot lower than 9.5's. We'll see tho. I'd like to re-do the ladder bar front link setup, (make it so it's actually adjustable), so I can wheelie again.

I like to run high 9's with my street driven 92LX. I plan to run Wild Street in WFC and some of the NMRA events.

I completely redid the entire car this year, and ran into a few delays so I havent made it out yet.
