As the title says, I'm looking for a reputable shop (near my location) to have engine work done (boring, balancing, assembly, etc., etc.).

TIA

I'm with Fritz on this one. Gotta get the 351W cleaned up in worked over.

All I know is don't take your motors to where badass88gt went. I would talk to darrell and find out where he goes. You may pay a little more but I think it would be worth it in the long run.

Randy Crowley down at PER....Precision Engine Rebuilders.....in Plainfield IL is a great guy that supports the NMRA and Mustang racing in general. He has a NICE shop complete with engine and chassis dyno that can do ANYTHING. He is a straight up guy in my experience and should be considered by anyone within 100 miles of Milwaukee. He might not be the cheapest, but 5 axis CNC's, flow benches, dynos, and all the other equipment he has isn't cheap. His number is 815-254-2333.

PS: He's doing a LOT of R&D on mod motor heads right now too. They guy can build you anything from a stock motor to a 6 second Quick 16 engine....and anything in between.
