This looks very promising!

"New from AFM, methanol/water injection. Mr. Freeze is simplistic, yet effective. Being activated by boost and metered by jetting, Mr. Freeze is easily optimized. Mr. Freeze is an easy bolt-on for all centrifugal supercharges and turbochargers. In initial testing, AFM has documented up to as much as 90 additional rear wheel horsepower using 93 octane pump gas."

Looks cool but you really want to have more power on the stock block?? lol

Greg just get some 195/70/14's and some 14" rims. That should do the trick!! lol

well lets get the truth out. i have had the same setup for years now from SMC. they all do the same thing cool the air. but they do not add 90 hp. i have tested this on a dyno and there was a 7hp gain apples to apples.(at anderson ford) know let me tell you why you gain 90 hp. if you use 93 octain fuel you will gain hp by adding timming. with a cooler charge you can add as much as 5 or 6 total timming and that should add about 60hp. if you use race gas which i did the gains will be less because that in itself will allow almost the same timming advance. the real value comes into back to back runs because with the water/alch. it will keep the charge consistent. i do like it and if you do not want to run race gas then it will gain. but with race gas i would say the gain would be more like 10hp max. i will be also checking this in spring with race gas again and will post the gains. i have done lots of homework on this for three yrs also. again if you run high boost cooling the air is the way to go and thats why i use it. it keeps the chance of detonating down.

You are missing the whole point Mark. I DO run 93 octane pump gas and I do run severely retarded timing as a result. (19 degrees total advance under full boost) so this device allows me to run unleaded pump gas and
advance timing, and the combo of the cooler air charge coupled with the added timing I am certain will result in added horsepower, perhaps substantial amounts.
As if I need more at this point...

well Greg it was not intended just for you. if you only run 93 octain then i would get it and thats true you do. i just think that the hp numbers are skewed. most people do run race gas at the track anyway if they are fast. i will be checking this claim out again in spring with 104 race gas and we will see what affects it has on my combo. you know that in any advertising you can make the numbers better by running less timming without the injection even though you might be able to run more without it and then adding timming when the water/alc in injected. thats all i mean. i tuned my car to the max without the injection then retuned with it and only saw 8hp gain but again i was already at a lot of timming before the injection was turned on and we did not run my car until it blew up either hehe.

Mark the add says with 93 octain and says nothing about gaining 90hp with race gas. You are right though you will not see massive gains using it with race gas. The car they used to test it had a great tune in it before they added the kit.
The kit is OK and very simple. But can be made for much less money by a DIY type person. Just like the snow kit and the others you are paying for convenience. The Mr. Freeze kit is a low pressure system and does not use a pump to spray the mixture. It uses the manifold pressure to pressureize the bottle. Then it sucks the mixture into the motor because it is hooked into the air feed pipe to the supercharger (read: vacuume). Paxton's LT1 kit used the cars washer fluid and bottle in the same way.
