I bought my 95 SHO last month. It's in very good shape and well tuned. However, in the last couple weeks the battery light comes on when I start the car. If I rev it up a little it goes off and doesn't come back on until I have to start the car again. It's never left me stranded and starts the same as before. The altenator and positive wiring harness was replaced a little while before I bought the car. I just replaced the battery but it still comes on. I do notice that the lights are kinda dim at idle or at least they get brighter when the car is revved some. Any ideas??

Sounds like the alternator needs to be replaced. I would pull it from the car and take it somewhere that it can be tested or rebuilt.

Actually my Mustang does that once and awhile but I have never had a problem with it.

the main cause for it is everything getting old wiring wise and the altenator isnt as efficiant they dont move as much voltage and amperage as when it was new my sho did that i load tested just the altenator and it didnd charge properly until it spun for about a minute which would illuminate the dash light
so as said above get it tested you may have to replace it but dont just throw parts at it fix it the right way sho's are great cars
