If I plan to run a 75-100 shot of nitrous, do I choose my injector size according to this?? I am doing a injector upgrade and I am uncertain what size to choose. Any info on this??
Thanks, Jason

No. Size the injector to the horsepower of the engine. A "wet" nitrous system has a fuel circuit that will add the proper amount of fuel. A "dry" nitrous system will crank the fuel pressure up when in use which will deliver the necessary fuel.

With that small of a shot you don't have to worry, but make sure you have a decent fuel pump so there's plenty of fuel volume.

Alright so my next question is would 42lb injectors be too big for the 347?? Kinda changing some things up with my current combo and uncertain which size injectors to use. I am running a 255 in tank pump right now.

Well they would if you are going to run just a 100 shot, yes. Depends what power level you want to go to, if that's all you plan, then 30's will work better. I ran 30's with my 347 and a 80 shot and it was PIG rich on the dyno.

Unless your going to turn it 8000rpms or 14 to 1,42's are definately too much N/A. A super strong 347 wouldn't need more than 36's IMO.

I will be running TFS TW Fox Lake Stage 2 heads, Holley Systemax 2 w/Fox Lake porting, and a 75mm T-body. Just uncertain of the cam and injectors. So maybe go with the 36lb injectors then. Tuning will be done with the 2004 PMS. Thanks for the input guys!

FWIW, I was gonna run 30s NA on mine before I went carb. 36 might be the ticket for ya.... but how long are you gonna stick with "only" a 100 shot?
Well I am going to say at least for a summer. I would like to learn all the in's and out's of it before I get too carried away. Anyone know where I can get a set of the FMS 36lbs for a good deal?? I cant seem to find them in Summit or a couple other places I looked.
Thanks again!

Jason,
Your best bet in regards to the injectors would be a set of 36lbs. That way we and if you go bigger with anything you won't have to replace again and then you will have plenty for what you have now.
