How much does those run?
You can't run cats with headers, but can you still pass emissions?

You could have a couple of cats welded in front (or rear) of the X to pass emissions.
No emmisions in this part of WI! :p

What kind of setup you got ghost? Depending on your mods now and future, long tubes won't do much for you at all IMO. Yea they sound really baddazz, but unless you're going to step up to some pretty good size power adders... have you thought about mid lengths? Or shorties? I had Kooks Long Tubes, with high flow cats welded in and a shorty "H" pipe. But I was around 500rwhp too, Just a suggestion. They do sound awesome. :shifter: :thumbs_up

well from what I know shorties do nothing for the mod(for the amount of work involved) and yes long tubes dont do much for peak numbers but you pick up a bit of tq and power in the whole band, the fastest 2v bolt on mod motor guys all run long tubes with dyno numbers and track results to back them up
as for setup
75-100 shot nx (for now)
c&l plenum
steeda pullies
steeda t/a(set at stock)
sct 4 program chip
4.10s gears
densecharger maf-tb tube
afm power stack filter
mac prochamber mid pipe
magnaflow muffs dumped
future plans
vt engines forged bottom end
vt engines stage 2 P&P heads
vt engines stage 2 n/a cams
and when or if it ever comes out the C&L lower manifold

But if no cats, MIL eliminators will solve the emissions, right???

Mil eliminators or a chip/reflash can take care of it...

Just get the MIL elims. In IL for 96+ cars they do an OBDII test and aslong as u dont have any codes u pass.
BBK LT headers and o/r hpipe here. No starter problems.
I know it will be poopy when I have to do my clutch.

I bet, I hear only Hooker and Kooks LT's are fitted so well, that they can remain on when doing tranny work. What about mid-lenghts, do they interfere with the trans?

mids are fine for pulling the trans but they are pricey :thud:
