Clunk clunk, boom boom boom car dead

so i was driving today and when i made left turns my car would make a huge clunk on the right rear. then likfe 20 mins later i was stopped on a hill and going to make a left turn. I went to go and clunk clunk clunk grind grind and then nothing. The car would not move but the speedo and tach moveas if im going, and when i put in in gear all i hear is like wheeeeeeeeee when i hit the throttle like something is winding up. And when its in park it still rolls, any guesses?

something is busted in the rear end. sounds like a busted pinnion gear or something. pull the cover off to find out or call & have it looked at.
that sucks.....
