what are the quarter mile times on a stock 91 or 92 lx 5.0and gt. Im looking to buy one soon and are just trying to figure out if its worth it. Can the 5.0 go hi 12s with bolt ons only including a 373. thanx.

They run on avg. mid-low 14's but with a gear slicks and some bolt on's it can run 12's very easily

My 91 LX ran a 14.6 a month after I bought it brand new, with 500 miles on the clock, full tank of gas and spare tire still mounted in the hatch, just like I drove it off the dealers lot.

My 88 GT with stock 3.08 gears and BFG Comp T/A street radials went 13.92 @ 97 mph with the only aftermarket modification being a Hurst shifter. Gotta love those speed density cars. Mark302 had some pretty impressive times with his winter beater too!

Mine had 3.08's. I ran across the time slips not too long ago, I remember because my 60 ft times were in the 2.3-2.4 second range (first time at the drag strip) and I laughed thinking to myself "that's not very good..."
