Finally got around to having my new gears installed yesterday.

I have had the 4.10's sitting around for months and went up to Fast Times for the install.

It was not a big jump I had 3.73's in it.
It does pull harder and runs through first gear quicker.
The roads have been a little damp so I am waiting for a dry day to let 'er rip.

So far :thumbs_up :thumbs_up 2 thumbs up. :D

3.73 really wake up a V6. I think I'm gonna need to get my rear redone, it's quite noisy. :thud:

did you stick with a 7.5 or did you move to 8.8 to get trac loc?

Jeff stayed with a 7.5 if I remember correctly.

yep, i stayed with the 7.5, b/c i couldn't find an 8.8 as quickly as i ended up needing a new rear end plus it was quite a bit cheaper if i remember correctly to stick with the 7.5, so i ended up buying the 7.5 off of the guy i got my exhaust from down in illinois. ROAD TRIP!

That's right the other guy was doing an IRS swap.

yep, i never did hear anything from him after i bought the rear end. i would assume it worked out pretty well though. i wouldn't mind taking a ride in it. :D
