I hope these 18"s fit. Time to get rid of the 15x7 Enkei wheels that were on my '84 Mustang. At least the coil overs and Aerospace Component brakes clear the wheels fine. Now I just need to see how they fit in the wheelwells.
These 18's sure are porky compared to 15" Wheels or Drag Lites. The 18's weight 55 lbs total with the tires vs. 40 lbs for the Enkies/Michelins.

If they fit it will look very nice, I love those wheels, but was positive they wouldnt fit on my 89 GT or else i would have gotten them. Good luck hope they work out!!

I think I can get the Cobra R's to fit even if I have to do some other mods to to car to get them tucked into the wheelwheels nicely. I was thinking of having 9" housing ends welded on to my 8.8" so I don't have to use the c-clip eliminators. Since I'll be cutting the housing ends and buying new axles anyway, I can get the proper length axle to work with these Cobra wheels for the rear.
The fronts are my main concern, but since I've got tublar a-arms and the stock '84 track is 1" narrower than a '87-'93 GT, I've got some room to work with if I need to use some wheel spacers. The studs on my Aerospace Component rotors are 3" long, so worse case scenerio is adding a small spacer to get the offset correct.
I just wish the front rotors weren't a dinky 11". The rear discs will be 11 3/4". I'll be sure to post pics once they're on my car. Thanks for the replies.

I have 17X9 95 cobra R's on my car. Don't know why the 18x9.5 wouldn't work... Mine have plenty of clearance, Full lock turns is the only time I had any contact and that was because of a wheel weight. I have tape weights now and have no clearance issues.
