I just bought a used s-trim kit for my 408, and I am wondering what is the max amount of boost I could see out of it? It is also carbed, if that has any effect on boost numbers. Am I better off going to a T-trim or YSI setup? I want to make about 10 to 15 pounds of boost on the motor. It has fully ported roush 200s that flow about 273 on intake and 200 on exhaust at .600 lift, and a victor jr. intake. What kind of power numbers should I expect to see with this?
Thanks

My brother had a 408 with a P600 Procharger which is pretty comparible to an S-trim and with similar heads etc. to you he was maxed out at 12lbs of boost. Even with a velocity stack on the back of the blower and no filter (I don't recommend this it will suck you in!!!)he only made 13.5lbs.

How much power did he make, and with or without an intercooler?

He Made 580rwhp through an auto with a F.A.S.T. and that was non- intercooled. Intercooled he could only make 10lbs of boost. They told him that blower was maxed out at that much HP.

We saw 18-20 PSI out of our S-trim this year in NMRA RS w/ a 3.33" pulley. The motor that the blow is on will effect how much max boost you can see out of particular blower.
