I made the S-trim boost post also, and I am wondering at what boost level I would really benefit from an intercooler?

Depends on the efficiency level of the blower. Anytime you can decrease the ACT you should see a gain. There are other means to cool the intake charge than in intercooler though. Methanol injection is one of them, seems to be all the rage these days, but I do not have any personal experience with it. Been thinking about adding a system to my blower car.

With an S-trim I don't think it is really worth it. A YS-trim then for sure!

Mike lost more boost that he could have gained back for 75 degrees of air temp.

I've heard that before too Mark. A frined had a Procharger and found he ran quicker with the intercooler by-passed. But he wasn't running much boost.
Vortechs are pretty efficient at 8-12 PSI.
