I am sure this has been discussed already around the web but... Man, I was just reading this month's HOT ROD, and there is a nice review of the Mickey Thompson Drag Radials. WOW!!! Seems they outperformed M/T full slicks by quite a bit on the test car.
Me thinks me needs to try a set of these!!!
Good luck getting a hold of a set.

I would like to see how they do, in the real world!
It is hard to belive that they hook better the ET drags.

Here they are:
ET Drags: Best 60 foot: 1.597, average 1.611
ET Street Radial: best 60 foot: 1.519 Average 1.52 (throwing out worst of both)
Hmmmm. The ET Street's are very consistent

I know some of the NMRA Drag Radial guys are pissed and don't want them let into the class. I don't remember who it was....but one guy said he had tested a prototype and it was worth a solid 2 or 3 tenths (can't remember which it was right now) as compared to a BFG of the same size.

The argument is that the M/T tire hooks as well as a slick and it will take the driving aspect out of the class. In the past, the major appeal to many of the DR guys is the difficulty in getting down the track...in both suspension tuning and driving aspects. There is concern that too good of a tire will make the class more of a "HP is king" kind of deall....if you follow what i'm saying.
