Anybody ever glue the head liner back to the underside of the the roof of a mustang? I have a full cage & a sunroof in my car.
what did you use & how do you keep it from falling or saging down when the glue is drying?
I just want it to look ok. its a race car not a show car. I was thinking about just cutting it out if it turns into a pain...... I do have full interior in my car, so it would be nice to keep it.
any suggestions would help.

thanks Mark

The headliner glue is like contact cement. You spray the glue on the back of the headliner material and on the headliner liner backing board. When the glue is tacky or dry, you put the material on the headliner board. It's pretty straight forward. The toughest part is getting the headliner folded around the sunroof opening. At least on a stock sunroof. You have to really stretch the headliner material over the flange that runs the perimeter of the factory sunroof. If you have an aftermarket sunroof then it will be simpler.

I've used 3M Upholstry Trim Adhesive with good success. You can buy the adhesive at Wal-Mart or any auto supply store.

Mark,......get the 3M Spray Can adhesive type that you can get at most auto part stores or I know for sure you can get it at a body shop supply store!
It works awesome & as stated above liberal amounts on the roof & the fabric for best results!
