Ok, I'm trying not to sound like a total idiot here, but the last time I did any serious work on my cars was at a time when computers existed only in Bill Gates' wet dreams. (Ironically, I write software for living)
Well, talking about wet dreams.... mine is to add a supercharger to my 1999 Cobra. I have investigated all options: Vortech, Kenne-Bell, ProCharger etc.
All full kits are beyond my budget for this season, so I have decided to put my system together from used parts from ebay and other sources. The biggest problem with this approach IMO is that I'm not getting a full kit with a CHIP.
I understand that custom tunig is necessary for proper A/F ratio etc.
What would be the best and most flexible custom tunig system?
Who would be the best company/person to tune my car w/blower in SE WI area?

I would say the biggest factor on the tuning set up for your application is based on what you want to do with the car. If you plan on adding the supercharger and leaving the car alone from then on a Chip is a good option. If you plan on adding stuff every now and then (when $ is available) you may have to reburn the chip again. That could be costly after a few times. That is when a system like the PMS, TwEECer, and a few others is nice. You can tweek the tune yourself when you do small upgrades.

Another thing to look into if you plan on doing your own tuning at some point is a good wide band oxygen sensor set up. There a quite a few out there now from the EFI systems, Innovative, DYI kits, etc.
