New Guy Looking for stuff

Hey guys,
Im from Tinley Park area. I bought a 89 gt last summer. The car dosent run. When I bought it, it had no wire harness, running enging or trans. I got the car pretty cheap. So now Ive got about 5grand save(still saving too) and looking for a motor. If anyone out there knows of anyone selling a nice some what modded motor or a good engine guy who is reasonable Please let me know.
So far ive bought
a 4inch Cervini cowl hood
a 5.0resto Cobra bumper cover with the running horse emblem
a Ebiach drag launch kit
a Hammer shifter
Tokico shocks and struts.
so Im surely but slowly getting the car ready to go. Any help would be great. and hope to see you guys soon out on the road.

On the site here BossLX is selling a very nice DSS 306 for a good price. A 306 would be a nice start for your project. Look on the classifieds section.

do you still need a wiring harness ? i have a set of ported E7 heads also available. The heads were on a friends car that went 12.5's and dipped into the 11's on spray. $500 for both. The heads have have only 12 passes on them as well. new valves and springs good for .530 lift.

If you look around you can find a set of Alum. heads for that price and most Alum. heads will flow more out of the box then ported E7's

a buddy of mine picked up some Edlbrock heads and crane rockers on ebay for only 575, you just have to look around

Where are you from? Usually if you state where you are, more offers from people in that area come forward looking to get rid of their stuff. Depending how much of that engine is left, you can always carb it and go from there, but you would have to have a 5 spd tranny, otherwise you could sell the core to help you get some cash. Just some ideas, hopefully you have success in your build.
