Ok I wanna put in a fuel pressure gauge and have an open 2 5/8 hole in my tach pod and need some advice. The Autometer electric FP gauge is a LOT of $$, so if I use a mechanical gauge with an isolator is this legal to use at the track? If so do I have to have the isolator visible for tech?

IMHO isolators suck, at least the liquid style that you fill with antifreeze. Unless you get every last air bubble out, the guage won't read properly...

Damnit, I really dont wanna spend the big bucks on the electric one, and I am not putting an external FP gauge.

I have the Vortech boost/FP guage pod in my Cobra, and I had so much trouble with that isolator that I just ended up mounting the external guage outside the cockpit.

Nevermind then the sender I have is for 0-100psi. sorry.

Joel can use it, he's EFI.

If I find it I'll post it up.
