Coolant question

Ok so the other day I decided that I will not be running any heat or ac anymore since they both dont work. I pulled out the dash and then the heater box and all the ducts in hope to save some weight and I was wondering how do I run that coolant pipe that comes off of the lower intake that goes to the heater core. I noticed that there is a hose running to one of those lines that comes from either the water pump or thermastat housing.. I was wondering how I can bypass it?

connect the two hoses going to the heater core together using a coupler or a flushing tee.

No it is actually carburated.
