ok im debateing weather to build my 302 or take the 351 i got and build that for my car. i was just wondering if anyone on here has put a 351 in there car and whats parts id have to change stuff like that wich one would i be able to get the most power out of for the cheapest if i put the 351 in id want it to be carbd

I believe all you have to change is the oil pan and the intake manifold.....I think :alc: But then again I have lost a few brain cells :thumbs_up

Headers, Dampner, Oil pan, lower intake, and maybe flywheel

what would i all have to do to put a carbd 351 in? how much power dose a stock 351 have? thanks guys

I've got headers and oil pan for this swap. Why would you want to put a carb on it ?

At the least you will need an intake, 351 spec distributor and 351 into a fox specific headers and oilpan. Then you will need the correct balance flywheel/flexplate and harmonic balancer. It seems like a lot of parts at first, but they can be found used for a good savings.... I agree if you are starting from scratch, go 351 all the way over a 302...
