Motor Pull question

What are the best locations to attach a chain to the picker if you have no heads on the block? Going to pull the block out this weekend and just curious because the heads where on last time it came out.

I've bolted one end of a chain to a head bolt hole on one cylinder bank, and the other end of the chain kitty-corner from that bolt on the other bank. I works pretty well. You need to get some new bolts at the hardware store to do this, along with 4 big washers to protect the deck surface of the block....Good Luck!!

You can go get a couple of eye bolts at a hardware store for around $5 too..........
